Ruapehu + Rain

A weekend (14th/15th of August) at Ruapehu with two days in a washing machine. Really heavy rain on Friday night washed away most of the snow but at least what was left was nice and soft. Luckily mid-week following this, it dumped with snow for a few days straight and all is well again on the most temperamental ski resort in the world.


Mid-August? More like late November.
