1st trip to Ruapehu for the season

Well sort of, no lifts open yet (12th of June), we thought we’d hike up and get some turns in, unfortunately the rain that hit Whakapapa the days before we got there had other ideas and the cover was seriously lacking.

The base was pretty sparse at Whakapapa (getting better now though).

Rocks getting pressed.

Tweakn’ it.

We thought we were keen, I really hope these guys weren’t heading to the top.
