Kai Iwi Lakes
Posted by Hayden on April 25th, 2010Kai Iwi Lakes is about half an hour north of Dargaville. It’s fed solely by rain water so it’s crystal clear and an awesome place to swim & wakeboard.
Walking from the campsite to the edge of the lake.
Wakeboarding in the morning when the lake is nice and glassy.

The calmest (but really shallow) part of the lake, the land around the edge is another one of the cool things about Kai Iwi.

Looking up to the pine trees that surround the lake early in the morning.
